Volunteering at We Vote

Our country’s experiment with democracy has survived and flourished because so many people are willing to share their voices, by voting, their opinion, by talking with their friends, and their time, by volunteering. Everyone cares, at least a little bit, about the laws and policies that affect the people we love and the communities we live in. You may not always feel like sharing; your time, your voice. But it is the right thing to do.

We Vote was built by volunteers who care about democracy, myself included. We care about giving every American the chance to make their voice heard by casting a vote in every election.  Over 100 people have cared enough to share that most precious commodity of all, their time. Our volunteers have shared over 7,000 hours of their time writing code, designing user interfaces, collecting political data, testing WeVote.US and working with partners so we can help America be the greatest country it can be. We Vote is a testament to what can be created when people who care, share.

We Vote hopes that because you care, you will also share. Share your opinion on We Vote’s platform by creating a voter guide, and by reaching out to your friends. Share as much as you want. Finding ways to express how much you care about America can be easy by exploring an issue with our Voter Guide, and learning about a candidate who will represent you on that issue. Connect with an advocacy organization and then, on the next election day in your community, we encourage you to find your nearest polling station, and make your voice heard by casting your vote.
