Your Sign In Code: How to use it to sign in

When you enter your SMS Phone Number or Email in the sign in form, we do these two things:

1. we open a verification form

2. we send you a text message or email with a six digit verification code, with text like this:

Your We Vote verification code is: 000000 Thank you for being a voter! Please don't share this code with anyone; We Vote staff will never ask for this code.

Please enter the six digit verification code in the form we open in your App or browser (under the text "Code Verification" and above the gray "VERIFY" button). When you enter all six digits, the "VERIFY" button will light up so you can click it.

If you close the Code Verification form before you have had a chance to enter the We Vote verification code we send you, you can enter your phone number or email address again, and the "Code Verification" form will open again.
